Walgreen’s Inc. is one of the largest retail chain stores in the country with over 7000 locations.  Our guest speaker Mark Wagner is responsible for the operations of all of those stores.  
 
Mark joined Walgreen’s over thirty years ago as a service clerk and, after managing several stores, was promoted to a district manager and eventually to several executive level positions at the company headquarters.  He was an operational vice president and served as company treasurer before being named a senior vice president in 2002 and an executive vice president in 2006.
 
In this difficult economic environment, profit margins are tight and competition for retail sales is difficult yet Walgreen’s keeps earning record profits.  Often the drive to the top means frequently switching companies, yet Mark has stayed loyal to his company for his entire career.  Mr. Wagner will talk about his life and how, in a very demanding industry, he addresses what truly matters.  You’ll want to attend the December 5 MBN Luncheon to hear his story.

The ticket price of $27 includes a great lunch served by the Union League’s chef and Mr. Wagner’s presentation.

This is a great opportunity to share lunch--and your faith--with a coworker, so don’t forget to invite them. The luncheon starts at 11:45 am and finishes at 1pm on Friday, December 5 at The Union League Club, 65 W. Jackson Blvd. in Chicago. Attire is business casual. The luncheon is $27.00. A whole table (seats 8) can be reserved for $200; half tables can be reserved for $100.

We are now accepting reservations for this luncheon. The ticket price of $27 includes a delicious lunch served by the Union League's chef and our guest speaker's presentation. An entire table (seats 8) can be reserved for $200; half tables can be reserved for $100.

Our goal is to share the timeless principles of the Bible with today's business community. Through the life experiences of MBN's outstanding speakers we are encouraged and given insight in how to meet the moral and ethical challenges we face today with truth and a heart of compassion.

Reservations must be made before noon the Wednesday prior to the luncheon.
Checks, made out to MBN, can be sent to The Moody Church, 1609 North LaSalle Chicago, IL 60614.

Changes and/or cancellations must be done no later than 12:00 pm on the Wednesday prior to the luncheon otherwise you will be responsible for payment based on your reservation.
